Original members Stephen ‘Mal’ Mallinder and Chris Watson reunite to mark 50 years since their first performance in 1975. In a world of social turmoil and political manipulation, the prescient work and Dadaist interventions of Cabaret Voltaire remain more essential than ever. The Performance This special live set covers the full arc of the band's formidable output, including: - Early experimental sounds and first releases on Rough Trade / Factory. - Visuals from their pioneering Doublevision video label. - Work with renowned producers Adrian Sherwood and Marshall Jefferson. The performance has been painstakingly reconstructed from scratch using original technology and processes to stay faithful to the tracks, while embracing the "chance meets causality" spirit of their legendary live shows.
