Suffocate For Fuck Sake / Vi Som Älskade Varandra Så Mycket // Live at Plan B — Malmö
Doors 6 PM On stage 8 PM 18+ (13+ w/legal guardian) Formed in Sweden in 2004, Suffocate For Fuck Sake (often stylized as SFFS) emerged as a fiercely independent voice in the underground music scene, blending post-rock, screamo, post-hardcore, sludge, and spoken-word with cinematic atmospheres and raw emotional depth. Their "self-titled" debut EP dropped in 2004 as a DIY project. It served as both the band’s origin story and creative manifesto, a purely authentic expression with no expectations beyond self-fulfillment. In 2008, they released the highly regarded full-length album Blazing Fires and Helicopters on the Frontpage of the Newspaper. There's a War Going On and I'm Marching in Heavy Boots. This ambitious concept album combined layered instrumentation, samples, and spoken narratives to create a haunting, soundtrack-like experience. Despite minimal initial exposure, it became a prized underground gem. After years of relative silence, SFFS returned with In My Blood in 2017, their second full-length album. Another concept piece, it explored themes of eugenics, integrating samples from the Swedish radio documentary Förädlade Svenskar alongside stark, desperate soundscapes. In April 2021, SFFS unveiled Fyra, a sprawling 82-minute concept album divided into four chapters—each named for a character wrestling with a different addiction. Critics likened their sound to peers like Cult of Luna, Breach, and Godspeed You! Black Emperor, yet recognized SFFS’s uniquely haunting signature. Despite minimal live performances, their measured silence and focused studio practice have awarded them cult status among niche post-metal and screamo circles. https://open.spotify.com/.../5rwjhpRH0MLCkKJzGMMHCY... https://www.facebook.com/SuffocateFFS https://www.instagram.com/suffocateforfucksake_official/ Vi Som Älskade Varandra Så Mycket was founded in Stockholm in 2012. They started off drawing inspiration from 90’s screamo and combining it with post-rock, creating a sound that is uniquely their own. The transitions between harsh and delicate soundscapes create an emotionally charged and cinematic atmosphere. The first two EP’s were both self-released and gained traction within the scene, earning them an international following that only grew stronger with their two critically acclaimed full-length records. This is from a band that is as niche as they come, with Swedish introspective lyrics and a sound that is far from accessible for everyone. This is the first official tour, so it’s like spotting a rare bird in the wild. Their live performances are eclectic, dramatic, and known to bring their audience to tears. They have rightly earned a cult following and a growing fan base, but play very rarely—so don’t miss out. https://www.facebook.com/visomalskade https://www.instagram.com/visomalskadevarandrasamycket/ https://open.spotify.com/.../50kKCUecjAwNorUIVl2uBK...
