Ye Vagabonds

Tisdag 6 april 2027 kl. 19:30 - Ye Vagabonds are brothers Diarmuid and Brían Mac Gloinn. The Dublin-based duo have helped revive traditional folk for a new generation, blending historical songs with original material to enrich the folk landscape. Described as "being at the fore of a new wave of Irish folk", they have won Best Track, Best Album and Best Folk Group at RTE Radio 1 Folk Awards, and have been touring globally over the past couple of years. As well as sold out headline shows in the UK, Copenhagen and beyond, they have opened for artists such as Patti Smith, Hozier, Phoebe Bridgers, boygenius, Dermot Kennedy, and Vampire Weekend. The Mac Gloinn brothers first performed in the streets together as buskers and have since evolved into a robust collective – a sonically unique ensemble featuring layered acoustic and electric guitars, trumpet, upright bass, Moog synthesizer, harmonium, bouzouki, fiddle, and the blood harmony of the siblings’ distinctive, multi-hued voices.
